Les Brown - Are You Ready To Build Your Business Smarter,Bigger and Fast...

If you haven't watch this Video yet.. You Really should Stop and take a few minutes to watch NOW! Do not put it off.
If you have seen this before... You need to Watch again.

There's things you have in you that you may not know. You don't have to be great to get started BUT.. You Need to get started to be great!

The Simplest Business Plan to get started working at home

The Simplest business Plan I know is to just get started...

What are your skills and what are you waiting for?

Don't get trapped into thinking you 'need to be certified or
credentialed' and THEN you can build a business or start working at home.

START where you ARE!

  • What do you know?
  • How can you serve?
Meet a need and serve others.
THAT is the simplest business plan I know.

So many times we delay our start...we delay our success...
we delay our profitability because we are waiting on....

Waiting on kids to graduate
Waiting on kids to be born
Waiting on a marriage or divorce
Waiting on weight loss or gain
Waiting on health to return
Waiting on family to approve
Waiting on ______________________

Please stop waiting.    The Time may never be perfect.  The time is now!

Generations of folks have started working at home with never having done it before. They have started lawn care, childcare, ....

self-care, house cleaning, contracting business based
on skills they already had and they just filled a need for
someone.

You can do the same with YOUR skills even if you think you don't have any... You do!  I know you don't always think your skills or knowledge are
valuable...but you are wrong.

Let me encourage you.
Let me show you.
Let me introduce you to many others who are 'just getting
started' without waiting!  That's what I did. And I'm so glad.

If I'd waited:

To be at the perfect weight
For my kids to be in school (or out)
For my health to be ideal
For the right credentials
For the software knowledge
For the market to stabilize
For the economy to regulate
For the House or Senate to agree...

We'd still be waiting...

But instead... 9 years later - I'm figuring it
out as I go...serving beautiful folks like you
as I go...filling a need as I go.

PS.. If you're waiting on the weather, the perfect
idea,  the blessing from Oprah or the funding
from Shark Tank...you're going to be waiting a
very, very long time.

5 Tips for a Killer Blog and Why you should have one

5 Tips for a Killer Blog and Why you should have one

Blogging can be really productive for your small business, only if you know how to use this tool. The content of a good blog must be relevant to engage, attract and convert its readers to your online sales efforts. So, how can a work at home mom make a blog effective and increase the amount of readers?

You Should have a Blog because it helps people get to know you better and where you can share additional tips where otherwise your business website might not allow for that type of information.
It also helps others see you as a leader in your industry.

Know Your Audience and Then Target Them
You cannot write for everybody. Seth Godin in his book “All Marketers Are Liars” tells about the need to write for the audience. When you write think about specific people; think about your targeted audience. What will benefit them, how can you help, what stage of business development are they in and what might be their possible challenges. Although you can take the liberty to write about general topics, your primary focus should be to write about what will benefit your reader the most.

Stories Have More Appeal
Everyone – not only children – likes to hear stories. No matter what you want to communicate – whether it is exciting or typical boring business news – tell stories to your readers. Use metaphors and analogies to decorate your story and make it sound more interesting. But that does not mean you should leave out facts and statistics. You must include them in your story and there must be logic behind it.

Try to be a Real Person
A blog is not a lecture. It’s a snapshot of your perspective on a particular topic. You can take the help of examples and stories to communicate your perspective. A blog must also reflect the personality of the blogger. Readers can find a blog very informative but they do not connect to information, they connect to the author. Treat your blog as an extension of your business personality. It is a kind of a monologue, expressing your business opinion.

High Quality Content
The blogging space is highly competitive. It is important to make the content of your blog relevant, high quality and of course ,sharable. Provide some real good information to your readers that they will not find elsewhere. There are some people who write cat blogs. You know what I mean – these people only write about themselves and their cats. But a business blog is quite different. You are writing a business blog to generate business and so it must talk about your customers, their possible challenges and information that they might find useful.

Optimize and Socialize
And finally, make your blog friendly to search engines and social networking platforms. Blogs that are easy to find and are shared on social platforms are a credible source of information. Do not stuff your blog with keywords and do not neglect them either. Search has incredible power for new readers because it gives them information at the time they need it. Socialize your blog. Use Facebook, Twitter, Tumbler, Linked in, just to name a few. Do not think high quality content is automatically sharable or shared.

The Difference Between Job income and Residual Income

I wanted to share some information with you to consider your options to there full potential.
Before I started working at home, I really had no idea about Residual income.
As I researched  about the subject, I had found how much more powerful Residual income is than getting paid at a job.

I hope this article helps you as you move forward on your search.

If you are out there in the corporate world holding down a job you may never have thought about the difference between earning residual versus linear income.

So what’s the difference?

Let me ask the same question a different way. Would you rather get paid for your own time and efforts or receive a share of other people’s time and efforts?

Let’s look at a couple of LINEAR income (job income) examples first:

If you have a job and get paid hourly wages, that’s called linear income. You put in your time and you get paid for the hours you work. If you have a day off or you are sick you don’t get paid. Doctors, lawyers or anyone who is self-employed earns a linear income as well. If a doctor doesn’t see patients or goes on vacation, he doesn’t get paid.

Now let’s take a look at some examples of RESIDUAL income:

Elvis made a lot of records during his lifetime.  Although he’s been dead for a long time now, every time one of his songs plays on the radio his family still receives “royalties.”

The same goes for movie stars. Regardless of how long ago they made the movie, every time it plays on TV or is sold on a DVD they receive royalties for it. Just like Elvis, they get paid over and over for it forever.

You may ask, …”Well how does earning residual income
vs linear income relate to me??”

If you have a home based business you are creating a “royalty income” aka “residual income” of your own. You do something once, like acquiring a new customer for your company, and you will get paid on that customer as long as he or she stays with you. Every time that customer places an order, you get paid a percentage.

You can also leverage your time and efforts by inviting people to join your team and teach them to do the same … acquiring new customers for your company. Then you also get paid a percentage on their efforts.

Residual income happens when this royalty income starts to grow. Let’s say your customers love your products so much they start telling their family and friends and they all become your customers too. And then they in turn tell all of their friends as well. That’s kind of like how AOL grew so big so fast. Word of mouth is the fastest and most cost effective way of acquiring new customers.

Once this happens, things take on a life of their own. You can’t stop your business from growing, even if you tried.  When you’re sick or on vacation your business just keeps growing as one happy customer tells another.

Now, that’s the difference between trading time for money like with linear income, where you work a certain number of hours and get paid for those hours. And residual income where you do something once and get paid for it over and over again and also where you leverage your time with others.

Again, the question … would you rather earn residual income or linear income?

If you answered RESIDUAL INCOME than I would suggest you start working on that. Start today! You can do it part-time while you are still earning a linear income from your job.  Commit a certain amount of hours to work at home every week.  Set realistic goals. Remember, you eat an elephant one bite at a time. Be consistent. Be patient. And never, ever give up.

I love this quote by Jim Rohn: “Work full-time in your job and part-time on your fortune.”

That sums it all up, doesn’t it?

I look forward to helping you find your freedom at home!

Sizzle Cards VS. Business Cards

Sizzle Cards verses Business Cards

With so many options to choose from, how do you know what is the right choice in choosing the right tool to market your business?

Well, lets Visit The Difference between  Sizzle Cards verses Business Cards.

A business card is a tool that is used to give out information about your business but it is very vague with limited information such as, Your name, address, phone number, and a website.
It is a useful tool but not one that has much impact.

A sizzle card is a business card size and it has much more information than just contact info and the back side is also used as well to bullet point some great things about your company or service.

This has a bigger impact because unlike a business card it has a Recorded overview number located on it that someone can call to find out more information about your company, product, or service.

Recorded overview is usually called a sizzle number or hotline.

If your Company has a Recorded overview, you should really be using that to help you with your marketing efforts. You can also Record one yourself by using www.Simplevoicebox.com

I like to use www.vistaprint.com for all my stationary needs.  They are reasonably priced and you can also get matching stationary and magnets for your vehicle as well. If you haven't tried them yet, you really should!

Here are some examples of Sizzle Cards that I use:

Here you will see the Front of each card as well as the back side.

This one is for The Service I provide:

FRONT SIDE

This one I use when looking for people interested in working at home:
FRONT SIDE

The one below is what I exclusively use in looking for Sales Professionals.
It's like a small ad and I leave these where ever I go

This is meant to be used to have them get a taste of what it is and to have them call me so I can ask a few questions of what they are looking for and direct them to call a detailed Recorded overview which is more like what we would be discussing if we were eye ball to eye ball.

This really just sums it up and I think you can agree, a sizzle card is much better than a business card.  It will give you a greater impact. Believe me, when you get a call from one of these types of cards you can pretty much bet that it is a qualified lead. And, oh my.. its such a time saver!

I hope this information was useful to you!

Many Blessings!
